Contemporary Art Practice 2 is specially designed for students who wish to work across multiple art forms. Each student must demonstrate completed examples of art produced from 3 different mediums. For example, Drawing, Ceramics, Printmaking, Sculpture, Painting, Digital/Photography and Mixed Media. This subject allows students to explore and experiment in a wide variety of materials and develop their design skills and enhance their creativity. Students will be expected to keep a visual journal of their idea generation and progress.
There is a written component to this subject where students research and reflect on ways to create art, however, it is specifically focussed on the student as a maker of art. A great choice for the student who just wants to explore a variety of different materials.
